What's for supper?

Earlier this week I was not sure what to make for dinner, so I decided that I would take pictures of whatever I made and post it (a little added incentive!)  This is what I came up with!

A Salad (compliments of my brother)

     with lettuce, egg, cheese and tomato.    

Cheese Bread (although we make our own bread this is not homemade)

with mild cheddar on flat bread. 

Yum!

And spaghetti! 

With kombucha tea.

I think that turned out better then I expected. :)

Verse of the Week Isaiah 41:10

 

 This Weeks Verse is Isaiah 41:10 This verse has a special meaning to our family, one of my brothers was born with medical problems so he had to have many surgeries.  Each time as he was about to go into surgery my Mom would say this verse to comfort him.
     Now it is a verse that I and many of my siblings have memorized and it is a great comfort to me!


     Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed for I am thy God:
            I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea,   
                      I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness
                               
                                                          Isaiah 41:10

Contentment in all Things

 Right now I am going through Leviticus in my Bible Reading. And as anyone who has read Leviticus knows there is not a whole lot of easy or fun reading in it (its mostly  about sacrifices and lots of the same thing over and over again. :)

  So yesterday before I started I prayed that God would show me something that I could use that day.

  And he showed it to me!  In Leviticus chapter 10 it talks about how Aaron came to Moses and told him that the children of Israel had done what God told them to do, and the next verse was the one that caught my eye.
         

               And when Moses heard that, he was content.
                                                                         Leviticus 10:20

  
    Contentment......That's something I often lack, and this week I really needed to hear that.  How often could that be said of me? 
     This was also encouraging to see that even in the books that are not as interesting there is always something there if you are looking for it!
