Here is a hairstyle that I really like (one of my friends did something like it
and I came up with my own version! :)
I call it my
~ Twisted Messy Bun ~
I do mine when my hair is wet....It's much easier to work with that way!
I divide the hair into four even sections (two upper and two lower)
I twist and roll the lower two and pin them at the back (leaving the bottom loose)
and then twist and roll the upper sections (again pinning it at the back)
Once I have all of it together twist it all up and around again and again until it's all up
(bobby pinning it as you go)
I love having this comb that I can just stick in to decorate the bun!
(BTW there is an Amazon link below were you can buy this comb, it's only $7.00!)
All in all this is one of my favorite ways to wear my hair up because it's so easy! :)
I am considering doing a short (or maybe long :) series on the different hair styles I use in my hair,
what do you all think?
Please leave me a comment with your opinion on it!
Thanks for dropping by!

I love wearing me hair in a bun too! I personally think that gray, sliver, white hair looks very pretty and I'm always kind of sad when I see people coloring their hair :( Thanks for commenting! <3
DeleteNow that is really cute.
ReplyDeleteThanks! <3
DeleteSuch gorgeous hair! I love your twisted Messy bun! I have no bun as of now....not enough to put in it....maybe I will grow it out, or maybe just dream of having longer hair!!! Enjoyed the tutorial!!!
ReplyDeleteWell thank you! What a wonderful comment! :) BTW I have seen some BEAUTIFUL updo's that you can do with short hair! (If I ever get mine cut short enough again I will do a post on it!) Thanks for the great comment! <3

DeleteVery nice! I am with Dee M, I can never manage to do this with my own hair! Stopping by from Katherine's Corner during the blog hop.
ReplyDeleteI know at first it feels like its REALLY hard! (but it really does get easier!) :) <3
DeleteI love this hairstyle, so feminine, so lovely. I never know what to do with my hair, I need it up but I still want to look girlie. Wonder if I could manage this one? You mentioned you might do a series on your hair styles? I'd LOVE that!! (stopping by from Thursday Favorite Things hop)

I think I will be doing a series (I'm not sure when I will be getting the next post out though :( hopefully soon!) Thank you! <3
DeleteI really love this hairstyle. My daughter actually is really good at following instructions and recreating beautiful styles so I will definitely have to pass this on!
ReplyDeleteGood! I'm not so good about doing it myself........I normally look at a hairstyle and figure out my own way of doing it :P Oh well.........Thanks for the great comment! <3
DeleteLovely!!!!! I can't make a bun in my hair to save my soul! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteLol :)
DeleteI would love to see how you do your hair, please do a post on it. My hair is short and curly (not too short) but it just gets frizzy and wild when it is too long, but my daughter has lovely long straight hair and any advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for linking up at Good Morning Mondays. Blessings
ReplyDeleteI've been taking new pictures for another post (so far I haven't had much success :( Oh well) It shouldn't be to long before another one is out! :) Have a great week! <3
DeleteOoooh very pretty! I love just doing a quick bun on days where I don't want to wash my hair but it's really knotted and looks terrible without a brushing (it's curly, and the moment I brush it my hair turns into a puffball).
ReplyDelete- Linking over from weekend blog party
Thank you! I like doing that too! <3
