Catching Up...........Day to Day Life! :)

Hi Everyone!

First off I want to say thank you for being so patient and understanding of my blogging break! It was MUCH needed! :)

And now.........I'm back (I think:)

Well, Life's been really busy since I last checked in here!

We've been/done/happened

1. Gone to my Grandparents house over Labor Day Weekend

2. My Grandparent came home with us afterwords for a few days

3. My Birthday!!! :)

4. Three other siblings Birthdays

5. The Missionary Fair at Church (This past weekend)

6. School started for my siblings. (in August)

What's coming up........

1. FALL!!!!!!

2. Church Campout!! Yay! :)

3. Grandpa and Grandma coming again!

4. Garage Sale?

5. Friends Birthdays

6. Sweater Season!!!

With everything going on I'm not keeping up very well with all of the chores/and other

things I'm supposed to be doing :(

I would love your prayers that I would be more faithful in my walk with God

(With everything going on it hasn't been at the TOP of my list like it should

A Dog & Some Geese.... A Sherlock Tail (Tale) :)

Hello!

Sorry about the Blogging break! With having a garage sale, and prep and clean out

from + Attending a conference life's been REALLY busy! :)

One of my brothers had a Birthday recently and for his birthday activity we went to

a park.

(The word we includes Sherlock, who you might remember:)

Now this park ALWAYS has a LOT of geese waddling around, and to Sherlock they

looked like a lot of toys to chase (Or maybe chew toys? lol)

My brother had just gotten him out of the car & he had just seen the Geese!

(Can you tell he was excited?)

This is what he saw!

(What dog wouldn't get excited about seeing that! :)

As soon as the Geese saw him they were all waddling as fast as they could toward the lake.

(For good reason!)

Sherlock kept trying to pull my brother into the lake! He WANTED these birds! :)

Can I have them? :)

He looked so sad when he couldn't! :D

Church Picnic and Garage Sale...My Week! :)

We had our church picnic yesterday and it was a blast! AWESOME!!!!!

But that combined with the fact that we are starting our Garage Sale TOMORROW means that sadly I will be absent this week :(

Beautiful Horses.....Time in the Country

Over Memorial Day weekend we went to see family that lives a few hours away, and on the way there we went through country and Amish area ( we also took a little side trip to Trip To Amish Store, this is my Mom's post about it)

So what is one of the most common things to see in Amish areas? Horse and buggy! There was an older gentleman riding in the uncovered buggy (Thankfully in this picture the horse blocked him from view or I couldn't have used it!)

I have to say that seeing horses (and buggies, but mostly the horses! :) is one of my favorite things about travelling down that way! :)

I love how you can see all of the whiskers in the picture above! Who knew that horses had beards! lol :)

A horse in a field of little yellow flowers? Yes please! :)

Anyone that knows me would know that this was a LOT of fun for me! (This was the first time taking pictures of horses with my new camera! AWESOME!!! :)

Happy Memorial Day!

We spent memorial day weekend with family out of town and got back around noon today

(Which is why this post is SO LATE ;P Sorry)

I thought I'd get a few pictures at the cemetery for a Memorial Day post

(there was a cemetery right at the end of their road!)

It was so sweet and sad.....Yesterday I was taking pictures at the cemetery and saw this elderly woman sitting on a a gravestone in front of a loved one's grave. So sad.......And sweet...

Girly Valentines Day Gifts! (Part 2)

Here is part 2 of the Girly Valentines Day Gifts!

I was shopping with one of my brothers early last week at a grocery store

and came across a BIG display of Primroses that where on sale, I called my Mom and she had me get 5. I didn't get many then (only 2) but when I was talking to Mom about that later that day I had the idea that they would make good Valentines day gifts! So...........

We went back that evening a I got 15 more! :) Needless to say some of my brothers were

NOT very happy with me about having flowers all over the place. :)

I added the paper Valentines to the outside of the pots (after cleaning all of the dirt off them)

All of them together! :)

Girly Valentines Day Gifts! (Part 1)

Last week I made up all of my Valentines Day gifts. And I decided to do something

different this year.............

I made up these Valentines like I've done before..........

VERY fun card-stock that I found at a church sale......

All of them WERE looking nice, until.......

I decided to cut some more paper and thought it would be fine to

leave the finished ones on the cutting board (I was only using half of it and didn't think about the fact that sliding the papers across it "might" pull the others in too! :( Oops!)
