My Garage Sale Finds!

Hi Everyone! 

I'm going to share my garage sale Finds from a few weekends ago!

(Disclaimer)

This was an unusually good Garage Sale day 

(there are lots of times we go and I don't get anything) 

And most of the time things don't just fall into our laps! lol!

This is a talbots Pure Silk Dress that

 I got for $.50 at a church sale

(I couldn't find anything wrong with it)

This is a Linda Matthins New York which

 I think is just a J.C. Penny brand.

It still had the tag and looks to be brand new!

I got this skirt for free and am planning to 

eventually turn it into a purse

(I love dark denim!)

I picked up this little bag for $.10 

It's is brand new condition!

These Kenneth Cole Reaction flats were $1.50

I've been looking for some Black flats and 

God provided them at just the right price!

(Not to mention they're adorable! lol!)

And this Rosetti Purse was $.50

(I LOVE the long shoulder strap!)

And Now for the FUN of the day.......................

This is an ADORABLE little ducky that I got for $.50 

It quacks and opens and shuts it's mouth! I LOVE IT! 

(P.S. It's for the church Nursery)

Grand total for the day was  $3.60!

When should I start my new series? (Lessons From Narnia!)

Hi everyone!
       I would LOVE it if you vote on when I should start my new series! It's called Lessons From Narnia. The poll ends on September 8th because Narnia is my FAVORITE series of books and movies and since September 8th is my Birthday (and I ALWAYS watch the first Narnia movie (The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe) on my birthday I thought it was fitting! I hope you all have fun deciding when I should post it!

Spaghetti and cheesebread! The Random Food #4

This was the Birthday Dinner of one of my brothers from about five years ago!

 Spaghetti and meat balls, Garlic cheesebread, Kombucha and apple banana salad (this is not counting the desert!)

This is our family tradition (we get to choose the meal desert and activity for our Birthdays!)

My mouth is watering just looking at it! lol!

Giving Thanks to God!

                                Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks: unto thee do we

What Happened This Month? July

Hi Everyone! Sorry this post is so late ;( (once again!) I am having a hard time remembering what we did last month (I guess it would have helped if I'd done it right away ;P )


1. One of my brother's birthday (he wanted a minion cake and my Mom (Over at Gentle Joy homemaker and Gentle Joy Photography) made it and made a post about it (which you can read here ----> Minion cake

2. two surprise visits from inlaws (Grandparents and aunt and uncle)

3. Fun night at a friends house

4. lots of produce from our garden!

5. fourth of July fun!    (we made a watermelon monster for our church's fourth of July picnic)

6. gearing up for school (which we started on August 11th!)

And that is ALL I can remember (I will try to do better next month!!!!) so sorry!
