Cheesy Tortilla Triangles

This last week we had one of our "fall back on" meals, consisting of Redbud Chef Salad and Cheesy Tortilla Triangles.
  As usual we made it a group effort with Mom (here are her blogs Gentle Joy Homemaker and Gentle joy Photography ) making the salad and I did the Cheesy Tortilla's and sibling helped with setting the table and cleanup.
Tortillas

Tortillas with butter

I used finely shredded cheddar cheese

Cheesy Tortilla Triangles*

5 Tortillas

1 stick of butter

1/2 bag orange cheese

1/2 bag white cheese

2 cookie sheets

* These are the measurements I used for our family.

Instructions

  Butter the tortillas and place on cookie sheets, put on orange and white cheese (or whatever kind you like) and place oven on broil.
 Watch carefully the first time to find the right length of time
 And there it is!

Ready to go in the oven

You can also put pepperoni or sausage or
 whatever sounds good!

All done..........

And ready to eat! :)

It's a simple and easy food to make, but it tastes so good! :)

By the way don't forget to visit my Moms blog for the other recipe !

Verse of The Week, 2nd Samuel 22:2-8 &17-18

 Well, this week it's more like a group of verse's! Sorry but I just couldn't keep it to one :)

This is a great passage that I found this morning during my Bible study The whole chapter is awesome but I didn't think I should post the whole thing! (it is REALLY long!)

     2)And he said, The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
 3) The God of my rock; in Him will I trust: he is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my savior; thou savest me from violence.
 4) I will call on the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

5)When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid;
 6) The sorrows of hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented me;
7)In my distress I called upon the Lord and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice our of his     temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.
8)Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth.

17) He sent from above, He took me; He drew me out of many waters;
18) He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me.

                                                       2nd Samuel 22:2-8 &17-18

                                       I hope you all will go and read the rest of the chapter!

Thanks for visiting!

Big Closet Cleanout!

This spring I did a big clean out of my closet (it has needed it for a VERY long time!) I also took pictures thinking it would make a good post :)

  Well.......First thing I did was take everything out of my closet and put it in various places in the room (mainly on the floor, but you didn't hear me say that! :P ) This took me a LONG time! lol I didn't know I had so much stuff :P Then I vacuumed and dusted in the closet.

Then I started the sorting into piles for giveaway, the attic, or back in the closet, the pile of things to go back in got bigger and bigger so I had to go through it again! :(

As you can see it was quite a mess!

now that looks better!

I started to put some of the dresses back in the closet
(that got them off the floor and I was keeping most of them)

I told myself that nothing was going back in the closet that
I was not positive I would wear!

I put the longest dresses in first....

But almost all of them are long :)

It looks pretty full again :(
But at least its organized!

A scarf hanger is one thing that helps to organize
(I use scarves often)
I have little (or some not so little ones!) totes and bins
that I use for bags and purses
Here is something else that is very helpful
for those who wear skirts, a skirt hanger

---------------------------------------------------------------

And here's what I got out for giveaway!

after all of that work it doesn't look like that much! :(

Thanks for stopping by!

Verse of The Week - James 1:19-20

Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:
         For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

                                                      James 1:19-20
I had to put some pictures of are spring flowers on!

Lavender Crocus
 (we have at least five different kinds of crocus)

Mini Daffodils

We had two clumps that had crocus and daffodils together!
