My Fun Fall Outfit Post 3 (Green, Black & Boots!)

Hi Everyone! 

Sorry but this one is going to be short and sweet!

This is an outfit that I wore last week as a trial for a Sunday outfit.......

I was surprised how well it came together! 

I also must tell you that there will most likely NOT be another outdoor outfit post until spring, unless it is about a coat! :) 

I was crazy enough to go out to get pictures and I only lasted about 5 minutes. (I told you I was crazy) BTW it was about 35 degrees out at the time!

You all had better get used to seeing our hallway (as it is the only place that works for pictures)

Don't you just LOVE our pine trees! 

Okay......So on to the outfit!

This is a dress that my Mom gave me earlier this year and this was the first time I got to wear it!

It is REALLY comfortable (feels kind-of like pajamas)

I paid $0.50 for this hat, and I LOVE it!

The scarf is my first attempt at making a infinity scarf (no I didn't follow directions! :)

The belt was a gift from my Aunt!

I paid $0.50 for these shoes at a church garage sale............

And now for my favorite!

I found these boots  at a garage sale for $3.00! (this is more than I usually pay)

they were brand new and I just couldn't pass them up :)

Needless to say I was THRILLED! 

Well...........I got them home and happened to look at the box..........And the price tag that was on the box........It said $90.00! I couldn't believe it!

Now they are my favorite shoes

I might be off-line for a few days because of travelling to help our grandparents (my Grandpa is having surgery)

10% of EVERYTHING? (Are We Cheating GOD?)

Two Sundays ago our Pastor spoke on Malachi 3:6-12

It's about tithing................Which is a subject that most pastors don't like to talk about.

His Sermon got me thinking about the tenth. you probably tithe 10% of the money you earn.

But do we go any further than that?

How about 10% of our time? 

What if we gave God 10% of EVERYTHING?

We might not think that's so much but if we think about it, it would be.....

10% of ALL phone time.....

10% of all money (you were already figuring that one weren't you?)

How about 10% of the entertainment we buy with our money? (Ouch!)

What if we spent 10% of every day in God's word?

10% of all fun time?

10% of all computer time

10% of all sleep (if God awakens you to pray)

Today is Election day!

I know there are a lot of people out there that don't think it matters if you vote or not........They think that their vote doesn't count........Are you one of these? 

I Voted Today

I believe that it is our duty as American citizens to vote...........The way I see it, how many countries out there let the common people have a say in the making of laws? The electing of officials? 

You think your vote doesn't count........But what if it's the one that turns the tide? What if your vote is the one that counts? 

Did You Know?

That there have been times that very important elections have been won by just one vote!

One Foggy Fall Morning............

Here are some pictures from a few weeks ago, there was a really foggy morning last week and Mom and I couldn't resist going on a photo shoot! :) 

We went to a park and drove through a few times........

The fog was thicker in some places than others...........

This was a back country road that we drove down.....

I don't know about you, but I LOVE the road disappearing into the fog!

This was at the end of the fog, and there were some AWESOME rays!
